Waugh picks Ponting to overtake Lara

If Ponting keeps up his current rate of run getting he will surely overtake Brian Lara’s record. I would however bet that Sachin Tendulkar will get there first because he already has crossed 10,000 runs, compared to Ricky Ponting’s current tally of 7990. Ponting however is a couple of years younger than Sachin, which is in his favour.
