3 Pakistani batsmen scored centuries today, with yesterday’s centurion Younis Khan falling one run short of a double century, as Pakistan built up a mammoth score of 679 for 7 declared.

The centurions for Pakistan were Younis Khan tragically run out for 199, Mohammad Yousuf with 173, Shahid Afridi with a blistering 103 (7 fours and 7 sixes) and wicket keeper Kamran Akmal with a equally scorhing 102.

The wicket appeared to have absolutely nothing in it for the bowlers.

Virender Sehwag & Rahul Dravid lead the Indian batsmen’s reply. India were 65 for no loss when bad light stopped play on day 2 of the Test.

Sehwag was unbeaten on 36 (with 7 fours) and Rahul Dravid on 22 ( with 3 fours) when bad light stopped play.
