Cricket News – Pakistan take upper hand despite Pathan hat trick

Irfan Pathan became only the second Indian Test player after Harbhajan Singh to take a hat trick in Test cricket. However Pakistan hit back strongly through a century by Kamran Akmal and then fine bowling by its fast bowlers.

After ten days of bat humiliating ball, and not a result in sight, this blue-riband series exploded to life on an enthralling opening day at the National Stadium in Karachi.
