Monty Panesar is the tall left arm bowler who is ready to play for England as a spinner. He has a big test in front of him, playing against Indian batsmen in Indian conditions. India has been the graveyard for many spinners – including Shane Warne who could never get on top of the Indian batsmen.
How Panesar fares, is going to have a big bearing on England’s sub continent sojourn. With India having suffered a resounding defeat against Pakistan in the recent 3rd Test, it is probably the best time for England to drive home advantage when they land in India in the next few weeks.
