Cricket News – Pakistan all out for 161 in the fourth one day international against India
India put on a good bowling performance against Pakistan in the 4th One Day International at Multan. Pakistan lost wickets early and eventually were bowled out for 161 in just 41.5 overs.
R P Singh with 4 wickets for 40 runs and Irfan Pathan with 3 for 26 were the destroyers in chief. Sreesanth, Agarkar and Tendulkar picked up one wicket each.
For Pakistan, captain Inzaman was the top scorer with 49 before falling leg before wicket to Tendulkar. Having lost 4-29, Pakistan were always in a spot of bother.
It will be interesting to see whether India have any problems batting. The pitch looked to be playing true, but the extra bounce occassionally surprised the Pakistani batsmen. Already leading 2-1 in the 5 match series, India have the best opportunity to close out the series when they bat.
Pakistan also had to use their super sub Imran Farhat in place of Yasir Arafat.
Should be an interesting chase.
