The richest cricket board in the world has just got richer. Following a new five year deal for one day matches across the world with Indian media firm Zee Telefilms that is worth $219 Million over the next 25 years, the total worth has just hit the $1B mark.
The big question of course is, will this money be wisely invested to ensure the growth of the game in the future in India? Good pitches, training facilities, coaching and a strong, competitive domestic cricket infrastructure are a must.
