Here we go again. Despite the losses against England and Pakistan, when India went with the five bowler policy, coach Greg Chappell wants to still retain the 5 bowler theory. If 4 Test bowlers can’t do the job, it is very hard to see the 5th one succeeding. That is my view anyway.

The Indian batting line up, though always touted as its strong point, is not that strong that it can afford to play with 5 batsmen plus Dhoni. Especially, with Tendulkar not confirmed in the team for West Indies as yet.

But obviously Chappell feels differently.

India to persist with five-bowler theory
Coach Greg Chappell believes the five-bowler theory is the only way India can win more Tests.
