Cricket News – Indian board president slams media

The indian wicket keeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s house was reportedly vandalised after India’s shock defeat at the hands of Bangladesh at the Cricket World Cup.

Fame can be fickle and no more so than in India, where cricketers are treated as demi-gods when they perform well, and shunned by unreasonable followers, when they fail.

The board president Sharad Pawar has taken sections of the media to task, alleging that their coverage, comments etc. are leading to unrest in the country.
